Peace Rally poster

A poster I did for some friends. It took a while to get the whole image in the back to tie together as a whole. Lots of layers and filters.

Final images

Here's the last of my advertisement series for computer graphics.

Iron soccer ball for sasquatch. I think this one came out nicely. Compare this soccer ball to the first attempt i made at the bottom of the page. Yeah it's a lot better i think.

Time/space warping phonograph for Cindy McCain.
Ha these topics are so random. i love it. Needs a little work on showing the younger version of mccain through the difference map but i think it's still somewhat successful.

This one isn't due yet so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Just a fake tabloid project.

crazy advertising

i finished two of my advertisements (without text) in class Friday and i think they're pretty cool. I'm really not sure how to put the text on my wooden teeth for the cubicle zombie but hopefully it'll come to me. As always comments are appreciated .

Lol i feel like it speaks for itself except for the wooden teeth part. I thought maybe i'd put "Washington wooden teeth: be civil again"

I had fun with the haunted aura and i figured the text would read "split the competition" or something like that. The only problem is i need to somehow relate it to Dracula.

C4R73R

Last project was our car-icature project. I had fun with it and only used certain cars to help tie in the futuristic android look i was going for. It was probably about 22 layers of parts and overlays before i ended up flattening the layers to touch it up. After that we were to include two variations on the creation. I decided to include my favorite.

catch up

i am a little behind on this blogging thing so i decided to post my previous assignments now - skipping the clean up of course since everyone's pretty much looked the same. First was the "wish you were here" project. Pretty basic idea, crop myself out of a photo and put me into a place i'd like to be.

It still bothers me that the hue of my shirt doesn't match the lighting of the scenery but hey what can ya do.

ad project

well i've been messing around with ideas for my advertisement project for intro to computer graphics and suddenly realized i spent three hours on just making a soccor ball look like it is made of iron. Typical of me to zone out on some random aspect and completely forget about the big picture. I think i might just keep working this way because i like how pictures just tend to work on their own after having fun with it for a while. I never know what i'm going to do to an image and i end up learning a lot of new techniques this way. Just play with it and have fun... this could easily be taken out of context, but you know what i mean.

Also, if anyone has ideas on improving the ball to make it look more "iron" please comment. It just doesn't look exactly the way i want it.
